CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION DECEMBER 13, 2000 <br />Mayor Bergeson inquired if there is the prohibition of beeper use on either of the parcels. <br />Staff advised the conditions of approval relate to both properties. <br />Mayor Bergeson asked if the company would need a CUP for the general industrial <br />permit. Staff advised the company does need a CUP for both properties. Staff explained <br />the necessary permits. <br />Mr. Molin stated he believes there are no restrictions on the general industrial property. <br />The property zoned light industrial has the CUP. <br />Staff advised the concrete use on the property is permitted with a CUP. The general <br />industrial property already had a CUP. Staff noted they are unsure whether the permit <br />was grandfathered in or issued. <br />The City Administrator asked if neighbors will be notified if anything is changed in the <br />CUP. He stated that at times the neighbors were difficult and he was uncomfortable <br />talking to them. He stated he would prefer they call the Police Department. He noted he <br />has not received any complaints since the isolated incident in early October 2000. <br />Staff explained the City process used to change the CUP noting that a public hearing <br />would be held at the Planning and Zoning Board meeting. <br />Mr. Molin stated that he has to run the beepers even if the condition is not changed so he <br />is not in violation of OSHA. He stated no complaints have been received from anyone <br />other than the two (2) neighbors. <br />
