• <br />• <br />COUNCIL MINUTES APRIL 9, 2001 <br />Mr. Dagostino came forward and stated the following individuals inquired about their property <br />valuations: <br />1. Mr. Gerald Clausen, 6109 Baldwin Lake Road — Mr. Clausen asked for an explanation <br />relating to how the valuations were determined. Mr. Dagostino indicated Mr. Clausen <br />was satisfied with the explanation. <br />2. Ms. Sylvia Marier, 1833 77th Street — Ms. Marier had a question regarding the Green <br />Acre Classification. An explanation was given and additional research will be needed. <br />3. Mr. Ronny Marier, 1801 77th Street East — Mr. Marier asked for a breakdown of <br />lakeshore valuation. This issue will require additional research. <br />4. Ms. Karen Lodico, 1107 Trappers Court — Ms. Lodico had a question regarding an <br />equity issue compared to another property in her area. itional action may be <br />necessary. <br />Council Member Reinert asked if the County gave Mr. Claus o on arding his questions. <br />Mr. Dagostino advised Mr. Clausen does have options. This act re reviewed and Mr. Clausen <br />seemed accepting of the explanation. <br />Council Member Carlson asked how the tax inc ase in 'no Lakes compares with others in Anoka <br />County. <br />Mr. Dagostino advised he has not yeti+ : tax increase with other communities. At this <br />point the tax increase seems consi `.� eall noka County. That information can be obtained. <br />Council Member Carlson ind'' he uld like to see a tax comparison. She asked if it shows a <br />difference in valuation of, xistin o,.erties compared to new properties. <br />Mr. Dagostino advised the ``mp ison does show property with and without construction. He <br />indicated he will send the in ation to the City Administrator. <br />Mayor Bergeson inquired about the current map and asked why type of cycle the County is one. <br />Mr. Dagostino advised the County is on a four -(4) year cycle. He explained the map and indicated the <br />four -(4) year cycle is how the process has been done in the past years. <br />There being no further business to discuss regarding this issue, Council Member Reinert moved to <br />close the Board of Review meeting at 7:45 p.m. Council Member Carlson seconded the motion.
