COUNCIL MINUTES MAY 14, 2001 <br />City Administrator Waite Smith stated there is confusion regarding the fees. Council intended to add <br />the new fees to the fee schedule and approve the fees when the ordinance is adopted. The new fee <br />will go into effect in 90 days. <br />City Planner Smyser advised the City will have to amend the fee schedule when the new fees go into <br />effect. Because of the first and second readings before it becomes effective, there is time to change <br />the fee schedule. Staff is not proposing to adopt any dollar amounts this evening. <br />City Administrator Waite Smith stated the second reading is on May 29. City Planner Smyser stated the staff report is incorrect and the ordinance correctly <br />reflects housing units. <br />Council Member Dahl stated the ordinance does not state anything for cluster development or minor <br />subdivisions. Clarification relating to those types of development should be added. She referred to <br />page 3 of the ordinance and stated the term "roughly" and "City's best estimate of " is too vague. She <br />added that she agrees the Council thought the $1960 fee is for units, not lots. <br />Mayor Bergeson noted that cluster development is a type of subdivision and stated the City will have <br />a second reading of the ordinance. <br />6 <br />
