CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION JULY 18, 2001 <br />Finance Director Rolek added that the City may be able to assess part of the cost of the <br />property to JADT through special assessments. <br />Council Member Carlson suggested the City could also make an offer to Mr. Baylor for <br />the property. <br />Council directed staff to negotiate with Ryan Companies an index cost within the <br />agreement and a payback period of five (5) years. <br />Finance Director Rolek recommended the Council table and continue the public hearings <br />on the Request for Tax Abatement and the Business Subsidy Agreement. <br />CENTENNIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT REQUEST TO REZONE PROPERTY ON <br />BIRCH STREET, MIKE GROCHALA <br />Community Development Director Grochala advised the Centenni <br />requested two (2) rezones last month. One of the requests is to <br />own on Birch Street from PSP to R -1X. The Planning and <br />recommend approval.
