COUNCIL MINUTES JULY 23, 2001 <br />The City's zoning ordinance states that "No detached accessory structure shall be closer to the front <br />lot line than the principal building or its attached garage (Section 3 Subd. 4.D.1.c.). <br />City Planner Smyser presented the staff analysis of the application noting the Planning and Zoning <br />Board considered the application on July 11, 2001, and recommended approval based on one <br />condition. Staff is also recommending approval based on a condition. <br />Council Member Carlson clarified the structure is a 20 x 24 -foot garage. She asked if the only issue <br />is that is will be closer to the front lot line than the principle building. City Planner Smyser advised <br />the only issue is the structure being closer to the front lot line than the principle building. <br />Council Member O'Donnell moved to adopt Resolution No. 01-108, as presented. Council Member <br />Reinert seconded the motion.
