COUNCIL MINUTES AUGUST 13, 2001 <br />She stated her road is in bad shape because it has been used as a shortcut for a long time. Her <br />roadway did have a barricade up for a while also. She stated she pays taxes and wants better traffic <br />circulation in her area. Other properties want to be developed and need MUSA also. The City needs <br />to fix existing roads and developments before new ones are put in. State Aid funds should be used for <br />Holly Drive. <br />Ms. Gail Morrison, 707 62nd Street, stated she knew a road would go in eventually but it was planned <br />next to the Junes' property where it makes sense. She indicated that the proposed road goes through <br />a house and right next to her property. She stated it does not make any sense and it is not right to <br />have to pay assessments for the road improvements. <br />Mr. Johnathon Sponsors, Cassiopeia Court, stated he has lived in the Holly Drive area and he has <br />limited access to park area. There are many safety issues and he requested Holly Drive be widened. <br />Ms. Lynn Fernstrom, 6340 Red Maple Lane, stated the big frustration <br />62nd Street. Safety is an issue and 62nd Street is a weak road. The <br />traffic. West Shadow Lake Drive should also go through to County Road J. The City has to do this to <br />make progress. <br />Ms. Kari Gondess, 469 Hawthorne, stated there is already heavy, fast traffic on Hawthorne. There are <br />two (2) walking paths that cross over and that is a safety issue. The road needs to go straight through <br />as it was intended to. <br />12 <br />
