• <br />• <br />COUNCIL MINUTES SEPTEMBER 24, 2001 <br />Consider Proclamation, Resolution No. 01-154, Declaring October Crime Prevention Month, <br />Dave Pecchia — Police Chief Pecchia advised crime prevention month was designed to heighten <br />crime prevention awareness, generate support and participation in local anticrime efforts among civic <br />groups, schools, faith communities, businesses, and individuals as they help to nurture communal <br />responsibility and instill pride throughout the City of Lino Lakes. <br />Police Chief Pecchia read the Proclamation and requested Council acknowledge the Proclamation in <br />support of designating the month of October 2001 as Crime Prevention Month in the City of Lino <br />Lakes. <br />Council Member O'Donnell moved to adopt Resolution No. 01 154, as presented. Council Member <br />Reinert seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 01-154 can be found in the City Clerk's office. <br />PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT. RICK DEGAR <br />There was no Public Services Department report. <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br />Consider Resolution No. 01-149, Final Plat <br />Grochala — Community Development Di <br />preliminary plat on July 9 with Resolute <br />approval. <br />d Meadows West 3'd Addition, Michael <br />advised the City Council approved the <br />The developer has submitted a final plat for <br />The City requires a numbe ' gs ° . final plat approval. These include: <br />• Final plat musty conform to the approved preliminary plat, which it does. <br />• Development a e . nt must be completed, including financial securities. We have a <br />development agement. <br />• Title must be reviewed by City Attorney. This has been completed. <br />• Conditions of approval must be met. <br />The conditions of approval are addressed with the development agreement. This plat is the first to <br />include both land and cash park dedication under the new policy. The two (2) park areas make up <br />0.72 acres. The cash dedication is $94,725. <br />Council Member Dahl moved to adopt Resolution No. 01-149, as presented. Council Member <br />Reinert seconded the motion. <br />Mayor Bergeson indicated he heard from two (2) adjacent property owners in Twilight Acres that they <br />have concerns regarding the size and construction of the holding pond. He directed staff to <br />investigate that issue. <br />
