CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION DECEMBER 5, 2001 <br />City Administrator Waite Smith stated this issue needs to be discussed further when there <br />is more time. She stated the Council can finish the discussion at a special meeting after <br />the Council meeting on Monday night. <br />Councilmember Carlson stated another concern is that the Boards may not buy in if they <br />cannot choose the members of the task force. Balance is needed if a task force is even <br />necessary. <br />DISCUSS APPOINTMENT PROCESS FOR BOARD MEMBERS, <br />COUNCILMEMBER DAHL <br />Councilmember Dahl asked why the Council is not interviewing <br />asking for re -appointment. She indicated she did ask Director o <br />Tesch for the fact sheets on each of the incumbents. <br />City Administrator Waite Smith advised Director of Adm <br />this issue with her. She will also schedule more interviews next Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. after the <br />regular Council work session. <br />
