TRUTH IN TAXATION HEARING <br />DECEMBER 10, 2001 <br />Councilmember Carlson asked for clarification relating to the 27% in increased spending <br />and the 11%. Finance Director Rolek advised the 11% is the actual increase in spending. <br />The approximate 23% increase is in the tax levy that includes the total le ctual <br />spending will go up approximately 11%. <br />City Administrator Waite Smith noted a lot of the levy increase is due to th <br />tax reform. <br />Councilmember Carlson stated all tax rates have been changed.
