TRUTH IN TAXATION HEARING DECEMBER 10, 2001 Councilmember Carlson asked for clarification relating to the 27% in increased spending and the 11%. Finance Director Rolek advised the 11% is the actual increase in spending. The approximate 23% increase is in the tax levy that includes the total le ctual spending will go up approximately 11%. City Administrator Waite Smith noted a lot of the levy increase is due to th tax reform. Councilmember Carlson stated all tax rates have been changed.
