COUNCIL MINUTES FEBRUARY 11, 2002 <br />3. The developer will pay for the extension of the water main to the Hugo border. Lino <br />Lakes will pay for 50% of the meter cost. <br />4. The water users in Hugo that are connected to Lino Lakes water are required to adhere <br />to any and all water system -related ordinances and policies in place in Lino Lakes. <br />5. The developer will be required to provide financial security for improvements within <br />Lino Lakes consistent with current policy. <br />The City of Hugo has approved the agreement. The water main extension and meter along Cedar <br />Street will be installed this year. After a great deal of grading activity in the fall of 2001, the Victor <br />Gardens project was slowed due to floodplain definition issues. These issues have now been <br />resolved. The project will resume when site conditions allow. <br />Councilmember Carlson inquired about the number of residential its he City will be supplying . <br />water to through the City's services. City Engineer Powell ad ` a; w , ber of units is not as many <br />as originally planned and will not be more than 350 units. T o' of ' t will also be phased so the last <br />year of construction will be the highest number of units C ' upply the service to. Hugo is <br />also planning to extend their water system to handle this su + ivision and other developments. <br />Councilmember Carlson referred to page 9, Item <br />effect and the expiration of the agreement. Councilmember O'Donnell seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />January 9, 2002, Work Session Meeting Minutes — Councilmember Carlson moved to approve the <br />January 9, 2002, Work Session Meeting Minutes, as presented. Councilmember Reinert seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried unanimously with Councilmember O'Donnell abstaining. <br />13 <br />
