COUNCIL MINUTES AUGUST 26, 2002 <br />throughout the State. However, as Secretary of State Kiffineyer alluded to, it was a rather arduous <br />task. Also, during the last session with budget shortfalls it was even more difficult to get the money <br />from the State of Minnesota Treasury to the City of Lino Lakes. <br />Representative Krinkie stated he is glad to be here tonight and that Lino Lakes has acknowledged the <br />need for this election equipment and was willing to participate in the process. <br />Secretary of State Kiffineyer commented on the challenging time this is for City staff with the <br />growing population and shifts in districting. She then presented a check in the amount of $2,441.50 <br />to City Clerk Blair and Deputy Clerk Viger. <br />Mayor Bergeson extended his appreciation on behalf of Lino Lakes. <br />Consideration of Resolution No. 02-99, Accepting Bids and <br />Booster Pump, Clearwater Creek, Jim Studenski - City Engi <br />bids were received and publicly opened at 10:00 p.m. on August <br />required to award a construction contract to the lowest respo <br />the bid opening as follows: <br />Contractor Total Base Bid Alt. Councilmember Dahl seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 02-99 can be found in the City Clerk's office. <br />
