Spirit Hills <br />25 <br />26 i. Consider Second Reading of Ordinance No. 08-02, Rezoning to GB/PDO <br />27 <br />28 Community Development Director Grochala advised that the City Council approved the first reading <br />29 of Ordinance 08-02, rezoning the property from R-1, Single Family Residential to GB, General <br />30 Business/PDO, Planned Development Overlay, for the Spirit Hills Commercial Center, on November <br />31 25, 2002. The Council also approved Resolution No. 02-88 Approving Site and Building Plans, with <br />32 conditions, and Conditional Use Permits for a Motor Fueling Station, Accessory Drive-through and <br />33 Day Care Facility on November 25, 2002. <br />34 <br />35 The November 25, 2002 approvals corresponded with the expiration of the City's deadline for agency <br />36 action. As such the approvals are in effect. However, procedurally in accordance with City Charter <br />37 provisions, it is necessary to proceed with the second reading of the ordinance and subsequent <br />38 publication. <br />39 <br />40 Community Development Director Grochala advised that the ordinance findings have been revised in <br />41 Section 1, item 5, based on Council direction at the last meeting. <br />42 <br />43 Councilmember Carlson asked about requiring additional tree plantings between the commercial and <br />!44 residential properties. Community Development Director Grochala stated that is included in <br />45 Resolution No. 02-88. <br />9 <br />
