These changes are intended to make the ordinance more user-friendly by making it easier to <br />understand and implement. <br />ANALYSIS <br />The following revisions are being considered for each chapter: <br />Subdivision <br />• Update definitions and terms for consistency throughout documents <br />• Streamline submittal requirements to avoid repetition <br />• Add lot line adjustment, lot consolidation, lot division process <br />Section 1-Title/Application/Rules <br />• Update title and application section to include legal language <br />• Update definitions and terms for consistency throughout documents <br />Section 2-Administration <br />• Add section on Environmental Review process <br />• Update administrative and PUD processes and submittal requirements for consistency <br />with subdivision ordinance <br />• Revise PUD standards to make PUD a zoning district and not a Conditional Use Permit <br />Section 3-General Provisions <br />Section 3 is the largest of the sections staff is reviewing. These General Provisions establish the <br />performance standards of the zoning ordinance such as parking, landscaping, accessory <br />structures etc. Staff will provide a more detailed summary of proposed changes as they develop. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends tabling the Public Hearing to the March 11, 2014 Planning & Zoning meeting <br />to allow more time to review changes and present to the Board. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />None. <br />2 <br />
