COUNCIL MINUTES JULY 28, 2003 <br />APPROVED <br />286 Councilmember Carlson asked if the notes from July 9, 2003 should be pulled to be discussed at the <br />.87 next work session because there is reference to the Police Department meetings, which was a closed <br />288 session. Mayor Bergeson noted the minutes state `Mayor Bergeson provided a brief update'. <br />289 Councilmember Dahl indicated there were two major points, and asked if they should be listed. <br />290 Mayor Bergeson stated at this point there are ongoing meetings, and he thinks the reference in the <br />291 minutes is adequate. <br />292 <br />293 Councilmember Reinert moved to approve the July 9, 2003 Council Work Session Minutes. <br />294 Councilmember O'Donnell seconded the motion. <br />295 <br />296 Motion carried. Vote 3:2. Councilmembers Carlson and Dahl opposed. <br />297 <br />298 Councilmember Carlson moved to approve the July 14, 2003 City Council Meeting Minutes. <br />299 Councilmember Dahl seconded the motion. <br />300 <br />301 Motion carried unanimously. <br />302 <br />303 COMMUNITY CALENDAR July 29, 2003 THROUGH August 11, 2003: <br />304 <br />305 A) Wednesday, July 30, 2003, 6:30 p.m., Environmental Board Meeting <br />306 B) Monday, August 4, 2003, 6:30 p.m., Park Board Meeting <br />4307 C) Tuesday, August 5, 2003, National Night Out <br />308 D) Wednesday, August 6, 2003, 5:30 p.m., Council Work Session <br />309 E) Thursday, August 7, 2003, 7:00 a.m., EDAC Meeting <br />310 F) Monday, August 11, 2003, 6:30 p.m., City Council Meeting <br />311 Mayor Bergeson asked how many neighborhood groups were meeting for National Night Out. Police <br />312 Chief Dave Pecchia indicated they have 20 neighborhoods signed up so far. He invited the Council <br />313 members to ride with the police that night as they stop by the various neighborhoods. <br />314 <br />315 Fire Chief Milo Bennett indicated he had an addition to the calendar. He noted that Tuesday, July 29, <br />316 2003, from 1 — 6 p.m. the Centennial Fire Department is sponsoring a Blood Drive at St. Joseph <br />317 Church. <br />318 <br />319 ADJOURN <br />320 <br />321 There being no further business, Councilmember O'Donnell moved to adjourn at 7:18 p.m. <br />322 Councilmember Reinert seconded the motion. <br />323 <br />324 Motion carried unanimously. <br />325 <br />326 <br />027 <br />7 <br />
