APPROVED <br />1 CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />•2 SPECIAL COUNCIL WORK SESSION MINUTES <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 DATE : February 9, 2004 <br />6 TIME STARTED : 6:23 P.M. <br />7 TIME ENDED : 6:32 P.M. <br />8 MEMBERS PRESENT : Councilmembers Carlson, Dahl, O'Donnell, Stoltz <br />9 and Mayor Bergeson <br />10 MEMBERS ABSENT : None <br />11 <br />12 Staff members present: City Administrator, Gordon Heitke <br />13 <br />14 Economic Development Advisory Committee Appointments <br />15 <br />16 The City Council met to vote for four positions open on the Economic Development Advisory <br />17 Committee. Mayor Bergeson noted it has been the City's practice to have Staff notify the chosen <br />18 candidates before they are put on the City Council agenda. Councilmember Stoltz noted there is one <br />19 two-year term, and they have to decide who will receive that appointment. <br />20 <br />21 The Council voted to appoint the following individuals: <br />22 ➢ Steve Rymer <br />23 ➢ Jason Helgemoe <br />24 ➢ Tom Vacha <br />25 ➢ Kathy Hansmann <br />•26 <br />27 Councilmember Reinert suggested the new appointee take the short term; however, there are two new <br />28 appointees. Councilmember Dahl suggested Jason Helgemoe take the short term, since his <br />29 application was late. Mayor Bergeson stated that was how they handled the Environmental Board <br />30 appointment also. <br />31 <br />32 Councilmember Carlson clarified that Jason Helgemoe's term would be two years rather than three <br />33 years.
