• • • CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION AUGUST 4, 2004 APPROVED 1 2 City Planner Smyser indicated the EAW analyses and the public comments do not 3 illustrate the potential for significant environmental effects. Possible impacts can be 4 addressed through ongoing public regulatory authority of various jurisdictions including 5 the City of Lino Lakes, the Rice Creek Watershed District, the Minnesota Department of 6 Natural Resources and others. Therefore, an EIS is not warranted. 7 8 This item will appear on the regular Council agenda Monday, August 9, 2004, 6:30 p.m. 9 10 DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL, LAKE DRIVE (WORK SESSION ITEM 11 REQUESTED BY COUNCILMEMBERS CARLSON, DAHL) 12 13 City Administrator Heitke advised Councilmember Carlson and Dahl originally requested 14 this item be placed on the July 21 work session agenda and then removed it from the 15 agenda and placed on the next work session agenda, noting staff may be contacted by a 16 real estate agenda regarding this issue. Staff did receive a call from a real estate agent 17 representing a potential buyer of a property for the intended purpose of constructing a 18 church. He was informed of the CUP requirement and process and understood that it was 19 premature for this issue to be brought to the Council at this time. 20 21 City Administrator Heitke advised the item was placed on the work session agenda 22 because it a different realtor, representing the owner of the property, who has been in 23 contact with Councilmember Carlson. 24 25 Councilmember Carlson noted this item could be removed from the Council work session 26 agenda. 27 28 REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS, AUGUST 9, 2004 29 30 Item 4A, Lions Club Donation to the Public Safety Department, was added to the regular 31 Council agenda. 32 33 City Administrator Heitke advised outstanding meeting minutes from March and May 34 2004 will be added to the regular Council agenda. 35 36 City Administrator Heitke also advised the Planning and Zoning Board appointee would 37 also be added to the regular Council agenda for possible action Monday night. 38 39 City Administrator Heitke reviewed the Council meeting schedule for September. The 40 Council determined the special Council meetings would begin at 5:30 p.m. 41 There were no other changes to the regular agenda. 42 43 The meeting was adjourned at 7:00 p.m. 44 45 These minutes were considered, corrected and approved at the regular Council meeting held on 46 September 13, 2004. 47 48 3
