The 2005 budget <br />has a 4.18% increase over the 2004 budget. Some of the adjustments are putting back <br />some funds that were taken out of the 2004 budget. The other changes include increases <br />in firefighter pay roll, vehicle maintenance, equipment, travel / conferences / schools and <br />wage adjustments for full-time employees. The Lino Lakes share of the budget increase <br />is 4.64%. <br />Mayor Bergeson advised the Fire District budget is included in the City's overall 2005 <br />budget that is currently being discussed. <br />LEGACY AT WOODS EDGE, MARY DIVINE — MICHAEL GROCHALA <br />Community Development Director Grochala advised staff provided the Council with <br />information on the development proposal at a special meeting Thursday evening. Staff <br />would like the Council to have the opportunity to make comments and provide staff <br />direction. Resolution No. 04-135 calls for a public hearing to consider a development <br />agreement with Legacy Holdings Lino Lakes. Included in that resolution is a proposed <br />Council schedule for approval of Hartford Development agreement. <br />Community Development Director Grochala reviewed the two interchange projects <br />noting there is a $1.6 million shortage on the I-35W/Lake Drive Interchange. He did <br />indicate however, staff believes both projects are viable. <br />1 <br />
