Consideration of Offer of Employment for the Custodian Position, Dan Tesch <br />106 <br />107 Director of Administration Tesch summarized the Staff report, indicating Staff would like to make an <br />108 offer to Kay Stansbury for the full-time custodian position. <br />109 <br />110 Councilmember Carlson noted that Ms. Stansbury has already been working part-time, so with the <br />111 resignation of the previous custodian, there is actually no increase to the budget for the changes to <br />112 this position. Tesch confirmed that was correct. <br />113 <br />114 Councilmember Carlson moved to direct Staff to issue an offer of employment for full-time <br />115 Custodian to Kay Stansbury. Vote:4:0:1 Dahl abstained. <br />136 <br />137 NEW BUSINESS <br />138 <br />139 Mayor Bergeson noted that there was recently a news release stating that the Metropolitan Council <br />140 has awarded Lino Lakes $750,000 to assist in developing the Legacy at Woods Edge project. He <br />141 indicated this is a Livable Communities Award grant that is awarded annually. He stated this year the <br />142 Metropolitan Council received requests totaling $22 million, and had only $7.5 million to disperse. <br />•143 He advised Lino Lakes was one of eight cities out of 22 applicants that were awarded a grant.
