Consideration of Resolution No. 05-110, Approving Parade Permit for Second Annual <br />54 Blue Heron Days, August 20, 2005, Ann Blair <br />55 <br />56 City Clerk Blair presented the Staff report, indicating Staff recommends approval. <br />57 <br />58 Chad Wagner, Blue Heron Days Committee President, provided an update of the events. <br />59 <br />60 Councilmember Dahl asked the button price and where they could be purchased. Mr. Wagner stated <br />61 the price is $3.00 and can be purchased at local banks, McDonalds, Dairy Queens, etc. of Lino Lakes. <br />62 <br />63 Councilmember Reinert asked about plans for communicating with the public. Mr. Wagner stated <br />64 advertising includes a website, a two page ad, and another smaller ad next week. <br />65 <br />66 Councilmember Carlson asked for confirmation of the parade date and start time. She asked if <br />67 someone wanted to register what is the cost and who would they contact. Mr. Wagner replied to <br />68 contact Sara at Target and provided the phone number. He added the cost for a business is $25 and <br />69 non-profit organizations are no charge. <br />70 <br />71 Councilmember Stoltz asked about the golf tournament. Mr. Wagner stated it has been postponed <br />72 until next year due to lack of manpower for all activities. <br />• 73 <br />74 Lynn Bergen provided information on the royalty program, detailing events the group participated in <br />75 throughout the year. She added they would be happy to assist with community events throughout <br />76 Lino Lakes and the five -county area upon request. <br />77 <br />78 Alicia Broker, 2004-2005 princess, Andy Johnson, 2004-2005 princess, and Marla Johnson, 2004- <br />79 2005 queen introduced themselves. <br />80 <br />81 Councilmember Stoltz moved to adopt Resolution No. 05-110, Approving Parade Permit for Second <br />82 Annual Blue Heron Days, August 20, 2005. Proclamation Declaring August 2, 2005 "National Night Out" <br />91 <br />92 Police Chief Pecchia presented the Staff report, indicating Staff recommends approval. <br />93 <br />94 Councilmember Dahl moved to approve the proclamation declaring August 2, 2005 "National Night <br />95 Out".
