• <br />COUNCIL MINUTES AUGUST 8, 2005 <br />APPROVED <br />96 Councilmember Dahl asked how the City's numbers compare to other cities. She also asked whether <br />•97 this would affect another entity in the town center. Finance Director Rolek stated the City is falling <br />98 within the average of what cities charge. He noted he does not think this would affect others; <br />99 however, if they qualify under these guidelines they could make application with the City. <br />100 <br />101 Councilmember Stoltz stated they are not approving any particular project / process but a guideline <br />102 only. Finance Director Rolek stated that is correct. <br />103 <br />104 Mayor Bergeson requested that Staff clarify the wording regarding who can apply and reference the <br />105 business subsidy policy. Finance Director Rolek stated the wording would be changed for <br />106 clarification. <br />107 <br />108 Councilmember Carlson requested that the application include housing. Mayor Bergeson stated Staff <br />109 could add this. <br />110 <br />111 Councilmember Carlson moved to adopt Resolution No. 05-114, Adopting Private Activity Tax - <br />112 Exempt Financing Guidelines, referencing the Business Subsidy Policy. Councilmember Dahl <br />113 seconded the motion. <br />114 <br />115 Motion carried unanimously. <br />116 <br />117 Resolution No. 05-114 can be found in the City Clerk's office. <br />118 <br />119 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT, DAN TESCH <br />•120 <br />121 A. Accept Resignation of Officer BM Kubes <br />122 <br />123 Director of Administration Tesch presented the Staff report, indicating Staff recommends approval. <br />124 <br />125 Councilmember Stoltz moved to accept the resignation of Officer Bill Kubes. Councilmember <br />126 Reinert seconded the motion. <br />127 <br />128 Motion carried unanimously. <br />129 <br />130 B. Consideration of Reinstatement of Officer Dale Hager on or around 15 September <br />131 <br />132 Director of Administration Tesch presented the Staff report, indicating Staff recommends approval. <br />133 <br />134 Councilmember Carlson moved to accept the reinstatement of Officer Dale Hager on or around 15 <br />135 September.
