He noted the <br />18 Council will not take action tonight, but will adopt the budget on December 19, 2005. He indicated <br />19 tonight the Council will hear public comments on the proposed 2006 budget. <br />20 <br />21 Finance Director Rolek summarized the Staff budget and changes from 2005. <br />22 <br />23 Councilmember Carlson asked if the resolution adopting the budget is not on tonight's agenda. She <br />24 also asked if the resolution regarding the stadium is on the agenda for tonight. Mayor Bergeson <br />25 replied both are correct. <br />26 <br />27 Mayor Bergeson opened the public hearing at 6:37 p.m. <br />28 <br />29 Paula Desjardins, 250 West Pine Street, stated her proposed line item tax increases are from 12 <br />30 percent to 33 percent although she does not have City services such as water and sewer. She asked <br />31 Council to look at valuing services that are provided. <br />32 <br />33 Barb Bor, 7707 20th Avenue North, stated it would be nice to see salary increase details in the budget. <br />34 <br />35 Councilmember Reinert moved to close the public hearing at 6:40 p.m. Councilmember Stoltz <br />36 seconded the motion. <br />37 <br />38 Motion carried unanimously. <br />39 <br />40 ADJOURN <br />41 <br />42 There being no further business, Councilmember Reinert moved to adjourn at 6:40 p.m. <br />43 Councilmember Carlson seconded the motion. <br />44 <br />45 Motion carried unanimously. <br />46 <br />
