COUNCIL MINUTES SEPTEMBER 25, 2006 <br />APPROVED <br />• 1 CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />2 MINUTES <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 DATE : September 25, 2006 <br />6 TIME STARTED : 6:38 p.m. <br />7 TIME ENDED : 7:25 p.m. <br />8 MEMBERS PRESENT : Councilmember Carlson, O'Donnell, Reinert, <br />9 Stoltz and Mayor Bergeson <br />10 MEMBERS ABSENT : None <br />11 <br />12 Staff members present: City Administrator, Gordon Heitke; City Attorney, Bill Hawkins; City <br />13 Planner, Jeff Smyser; Finance Director, Al Rolek; and City Clerk, Julie Bartell <br />14 <br />15 OPEN MIKE <br />16 <br />17 Ms. Terri O'Connell, 1000 Main Street, came forward and stated she has seen several developments <br />18 within the City that do not have the downward focusing lighting. She inquired about the City <br />19 requirements regarding the lighting. <br />20 <br />21 City Planner Smyser reviewed the lighting requirements within the City ordinance noting streetlights <br />22 are not governed by the ordinance. <br />23 <br />24 The Council directed staff to work with Ms. O'Connell regarding the exact locations of the lighting to <br />25 gather more information and to determine if an ordinance violation has occurred. <br />26 <br />27 SETTING THE AGENDA <br />28 <br />29 The agenda was approved as presented. <br />30 <br />31 CONSENT AGENDA <br />32 <br />33 Council Member Reinert moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as presented. Council Member <br />34 Stoltz seconded the motion.
