SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING OCTOBER 9, 2006 <br />APPROVED <br />• 1 <br />2 CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />3 MINUTES <br />4 <br />5 DATE : October 9, 2006 <br />6 TIME STARTED : 6:10 p.m. <br />7 TIME ENDED : 6:25 p.m. <br />8 MEMBERS PRESENT : Council Members Carlson, O'Donnell, <br />9 Stoltz and Mayor Bergeson <br />10 MEMBERS ABSENT : Reinert <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 Staff members present: City Administrator, Gordon Heitke; Chief of Police, Dave <br />14 Pecchia; and City Clerk, Julie Bartell (part) <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 Mayor Bergeson called the meeting to order at 6:10 p.m. He advised the purpose of the <br />18 meeting is to discuss a personnel issue. <br />19 <br />20 Council Member O'Donnell moved to close the meeting to the public at 6:11 p.m. <br />21 Council Member Stoltz seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />22 <br />• 23 Mr. Scott Lepak, Attorney advised the City Council regarding the personnel issue. <br />24 <br />25 Council Member Carlson moved to re -open the meeting at 6:24 p.m. Council Member <br />26 Stoltz seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />27 <br />28 Council Member Stoltz moved to accept the General Release and Separation Agreement, <br />29 as presented in the closed meeting. Council Member O'Donnell seconded the motion. <br />30 Motion carried unanimously. <br />31 <br />32 Council Member O'Donnell moved to adjourn the special Council meeting at 6:25 p.m. <br />33 Council Member Carlson seconded the motion.
