COUNCIL MINUTES OCTOBER 23, 2006 APPROVED • 1 2 Turtle Triathlon — Lieutenant Scott McGuire came forward and stated the Turtle Man Triathlon has 3 gone through the City of Lino Lakes for many years. The reserve officers handle the event. 4 5 Mr. Mark Songhum, Committee Member, came forward and stated the Committee has enjoyed a 6 good working relationship with the City of Lino Lakes for many years. He presented t -shirts and 7 running caps to the City Council and presented a medal to Lieutenant McGuire. He also presented a 8 donation check to the City of Lino Lakes in the amount of $5,600. 9 10 It was noted that next year would be the 25th year of the Turtle Triathlon. The event has always been 11 a very safe and that is due to the City's officers that help with the event. 12 13 Resolution No. 06-173, Accepting Donation from Turtle Triathlon was added to the Consent Agenda. 14 15 CONSENT AGENDA 16 17 Council Member Stoltz moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as amended. Council Member 18 Reinert seconded the motion.
