COUNCIL MINUTES DECEMBER 11, 2006 APPROVED 1 road frontage, minimum lot area, depth and width to allow the division of the subject sites by a future 2 administrative minor subdivision. The intention of the application is to allow the shoreland parcels to 3 be divided in the future and sold to adjacent property owners for combination into existing parcels. 4 5 Associate Planner Bengtson stated this process was complicated by the fact that the Comprehensive 6 Plan designates some of these parcels as Public/Semi-Public because there were held by a 7 governmental agency at the time of the last Comprehensive Plan. Staff has initiated the process of 8 amending the Comprehensive Plan to designate these parcels in a fashion similar to the adjacent 9 properties to which these parcels will eventually be combined with. 10 11 Council Member Reinert moved to approve Resolution No. 06-198, as presented. Council Member 12 O'Donnell seconded the motion. 13 14 A roll call vote was taken: five yeas and zero nays. Motion carried unanimously. 15 16 Consideration of Resolution No. 06-200, Authorize Professional Services for Water Emergency 17 and Conservation Plan, Jim Studenski — City Engineer Studenski advised public water suppliers 18 that service more than 1,000 people are required to have a Water Emergency and Conservation Plan 19 approved by the Department of Natural Resources. 20 21 City Engineer Studenski stated the current Water Emergency and Conservation Plan was created by .22 TKDA in 1997 and revised in 2004 to meet the requirements of a federal mandate of the USEPA, 23 under the Homeland Security Act. That federal mandate required the City of Lino Lakes to prepare a 24 Water System Vulnerability Assessment and amend and update the Water Emergency and 25 Conservation Plan with the purpose of evaluating the existing security of the water system. 26 27 Council Member Stoltz moved to approve Resolution No. 06-200, as presented. Council Member 28 Carlson seconded the motion. Council Member 34 O'Donnell seconded the motion.
