COUNCIL MINUTES June 4, 2007 <br />APPROVED <br />•1 CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />2 MINUTES <br />3 SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 DATE : June 4, 2007 <br />7 TIME STARTED : 5:35 p.m. <br />8 TIME ENDED : 5:47 p.m. <br />9 MEMBERS PRESENT : Councilmember Carlson, O'Donnell, Reinert, <br />10 Stoltz and Mayor Bergeson <br />11 MEMBERS ABSENT : None <br />12 <br />13 Staff members present: City Administrator, Gordon Heitke; Community Development Director, <br />14 Michael Grochala; City Engineer, Jim Studenski; City Planner, Jeff Smyser; Director of Public <br />15 Safety, Dave Pecchia; Economic Development Coordinator, Mary Alice Divine, Finance Director, Al <br />16 Rolek; and City Clerk, Julie Bartell <br />17 <br />18 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT, MICHAEL GROCHALA <br />19 <br />20 Resolution No. 07-82 regarding findings for denial of conditional use permit application of <br />21 Royal Oaks Realty for earth material storage at 6644 20th Avenue - City Planner Smyser <br />22 explained that the Council voted on May 29, 2007 to deny the conditional use permit application. <br />• 23 The Minnesota "deadline law" requires that the Council adopt a written statement explaining the <br />24 denial and that it be adopted before the expiration of the time period allowed for consideration of the <br />25 application, in this case June 6. <br />26 <br />27 Council Member Stoltz moved to approve Resolution No. 07-82, as presented. Council Member <br />28 Carlson seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />29 <br />30 ADJOURN <br />31 <br />32 There being no further business, Council Member O'Donnell moved to adjourn at 5:47 p.m. Council <br />33 Member Carlson seconded the motion.
