CLOSED COUNCIL MEETING July 10, 2007 <br />APPROVED <br />1 <br />2 CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />3 MINUTES <br />4 <br />5 DATE : July 10, 2007 <br />6 TIME STARTED : 5:10 p.m. <br />7 TIME ENDED : 6:45 p.m. <br />8 MEMBERS PRESENT : Council Members Reinert, Carlson, <br />9 O'Donnell, Stoltz and Mayor Bergeson <br />10 MEMBERS ABSENT : none <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 Staff members present: City Administrator, Gordon Heitke <br />14 <br />15 Also Present: Harry Brull, PDI (Personnel Decisions International) <br />16 <br />17 Mayor Bergeson called the meeting to order at 5:10 p.m. He advised the purpose of the <br />18 meeting is the City Administrator performance review. <br />19 <br />20 Mr. Brull explained that under Minnesota law, performance reviews are conducted in <br />21 closed session, unless requested to be open by the subject of the review. Administrator <br />22 Heitke declined requesting the meeting to be open. <br />23 <br />24 Council Member Stoltz moved to close the meeting to the public at 5:12 p.m. Council <br />25 Member O'Donnell seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />26 <br />27 The closed portion of the meeting was adjourned at 6:45 p.m. and the meeting re -opened <br />28 at 6:45 p.m. <br />29 <br />30 Mr. Brull indicated that he would prepare a public written summary of the review that <br />31 would be provided to council members and the Mayor.
