LIQUOR COMPLIANCE HEARING MINUTES September 10, 2007 <br />APPROVED <br />11) 1 CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />2 MINUTES <br />3 LIQUOR COMPLIANCE HEARING <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 DATE : September 10, 2007 <br />7 TIME STARTED : 6:08 p.m. <br />8 TIME ENDED : 6:11 p.m. <br />9 MEMBERS PRESENT : Councilmember Carlson, O'Donnell, <br />10 Stoltz and Mayor Bergeson <br />11 MEMBERS ABSENT : Council Member Reinert <br />12 <br />13 Staff members present: City Administrator, Gordon Heitke; Public Safety Director, Dave Pecchia; <br />14 Police Captain, Kent Strege; and City Clerk, Julie Bartell <br />15 <br />16 HEARING ON LIQUOR CODE VIOLATIONS <br />17 <br />18 Captain Strege reported that compliance checks on city liquor establishments were conducted by the <br />19 Police Department on May 29, 2007. J& K Liquor and Jason's Bobby & Steve's Auto World were <br />20 both citied for underage sales. The department utilizes a Best Practices Grid to consider penalties <br />21 for compliance violations; their recommendations were presented. <br />22 <br />MP 23 It was clarified that a stayed suspension would remain in place for one year and that all liquor <br />24 establishments receive training and notification when compliance checks will occur. <br />25 <br />26 The hearing was opened. There was no one present who wished to address the council on the matter. <br />27 <br />28 The matter was referred to the council meeting of September 10, 2007 for action. <br />29 <br />30 ADJOURN <br />31 <br />32 There being no further business, Council Member O'Donnell moved to adjourn at 6:11 p.m. Council <br />33 Member Carlson seconded the motion.
