SPECIAL CLOSED COUNCIL MEETING OCTOBER 22, 2007 <br />APPROVED <br />1 <br />2 CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />3 MINUTES <br />4 <br />5 DATE : October 22, 2007 <br />6 TIME STARTED : 5:30 p.m. <br />7 TIME ENDED : 6:25 p.m. <br />8 MEMBERS PRESENT : Council Members Carlson, O'Donnell, <br />9 Stoltz, Reinert (part) and Mayor <br />10 Bergeson <br />11 MEMBERS ABSENT : none <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 Staff members present: City Administrator, Gordon Heitke; City Attorney, Scott <br />15 Baumgartner; Community Development Director, Michael Grochala; City Engineer, Jim <br />16 Studenski; and City Clerk, Julie Bartell <br />17 <br />18 Mayor Bergeson called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. He advised the purpose of the <br />19 meeting is to discuss litigation regarding the property at 2395 65th St. <br />20 <br />21 Council Member Stoltz moved to close the meeting to the public at 5:31 p.m. Council <br />22 Member O'Donnell seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />23 <br />24 City Attorney Baumgartner advised the City Council regarding the litigation. <br />25 <br />26 The council advised attorney Baumgartner on their direction regarding the litigation. <br />27 <br />28 Council Member Reinert arrived at 6:12 p.m. <br />29 <br />30 Council Member O'Donnell moved to re -open the meeting at 6:25 p.m. Council Member <br />31 Carlson seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />32 <br />33 Council Member Stoltz moved to direct the City Attorney to proceed on the litigation in <br />34 accordance with the direction given during the closed meeting. Council Member <br />35 O'Donnell seconded the motion.
