• <br />• <br />DATE <br />TIME STARTED <br />TIME ENDED <br />MEMBERS PRESENT <br />MEMBERS ABSENT <br />APPROVED <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />MINUTES <br />CANVASSING BOARD <br />: November 13, 2007 <br />. 6:25 p.m. <br />. 6:30 p.m. <br />: Council Members Carlson, <br />O'Donnell and Mayor Bergeson <br />: Reinert, Stoltz <br />Staff members present: City Administrator, Gordon Heitke; Deputy City Clerk, Jean <br />Viger; and City Clerk, Julie Bartell <br />Deputy City Clerk Viger reviewed the results of the Lino Lakes election held on <br />November 6, 2007. <br />As requested, a copy of the print-out lists from the ballot scanning equipment and a list of <br />write-in votes was distributed. <br />Board Member Carlson noted that the number of voters registered when the polls opened <br />had decreased from the close of the last election. <br />Deputy Clerk Viger explained that would normally be due to the removal of registered <br />voters who have not voted for a certain amount of time. <br />A question was posed regarding background information on the last election (2006), <br />specifically regarding the recount of a race. <br />Canvassing Board Member Carlson moved to accept the November 6, 2007 General <br />Election Results, as presented. Canvassing Board Member O'Donnell seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Being no further business, Canvassing Board Member O'Donnell moved to adjourn at <br />6:28 p.m. Canvassing Board Member Carlson seconded the motion.
