A property was demolished with the intent of dividing the lot
for two new properties. Staff is recommending approval of the plans with conditions
noted in the resolution. Unanimous approval was received by the Planning & Zoning
Board.
Item 6B, Reshanau Lake Improvement Project Contribution — Community
Development Director Grochala asked that Item 6B be removed from the council agenda;
there is still some clarification needed from the watershed district.
There was some discussion about the City's involvement in water quality projects. The
Clean Water Act includes a designation process for impaired water areas and there is
some obligation on the City's part to move to improving those areas. There are water
studies underway on many of the city's lakes.
Item 6C, Accepting Deed, Apollo Drive, Parcel 15 City of Lino Lakes Right of Way
Plat No. 1— Community Development Director Grochala explained that this is basically
a "clean up" measure whereby the state will deed some unneeded property to the City and
the property owner at 400 Apollo Drive will gain the driveway access they need.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:05 p.m.
These minutes were considered, corrected and approved at the regular Council meeting held on
September 8, 2008.
Julianne 1artell, City
1
