• <br />• <br />Council Member Carlson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-67 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF STUDY FOR THE LINO LAKES <br />MARKETPLACE IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, in response to a petition from property owners located on the east side of <br />Lake Drive, south of 77th Street and north of Apollo Drive extended, in an area proposed <br />to be platted as the Lino Lakes Marketplace, it is proposed to improve this area <br />generally located in the South Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 8 by constructing <br />utility and street improvements, and <br />WHEREAS, notwithstanding claims regarding assessable costs made in the petition <br />letter of May 8, 2001, the City will determine the benefiting properties and the <br />assessable costs, and <br />WHEREAS, the City proposes to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the <br />cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1.
