• 01-72 <br />Council Member o' Donnell <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-72 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARK DEDICATION LAND VALUE AND FEES FOR <br />RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENTS. <br />WHEREAS, NAC, Inc., conducted a detailed Park and Trail Dedication Study for the City of <br />Lino Lakes dated April 3, 2001 to review park and trail dedication standards based upon <br />development of the system identified in the Comprehensive Park and Trail Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the study recommended that the City Subdivision Ordinance be amended to reflect <br />dedication language provided by Minnesota Statutes and to establish park dedication fees that are <br />proportional to the impact that projects will generate on the park and trail system; and <br />WHEREAS, the Park and Trail Dedication Study determined that the 2001 land value for the <br />purpose of calculating park dedication fees is $28,000 per acre; and <br />• WHEREAS, the Park and Trail Dedication Study determined that the park and trail impact per <br />residential unit is $1,665; and <br />• <br />WHEREAS, the Park and Trail Dedication Study determined that the commercial/industrial park <br />and trail impact per acre is $2,175; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Subdivision Ordinance has been amended to allow for individual <br />determinations of park impact per development if requested by the applicant; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes will periodically review land values and park and trail <br />infrastructure costs and amend the dedication fees/standards accordingly. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby establishes <br />the following park dedication fees for residential, commercial and industrial development: <br />Residential Charge - <br />Commercial/Industrial Charge - <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council t <br />$1,665 per unit <br />$2,175 per acre <br />11th day of June , 2001 <br />J.
