M <br />• <br />• <br />AGENDA ITEM 7H <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: John Powell, City Engineer <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE: June 11, 2001 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 01-80, Joint Powers Agreement, 21st Avenue Street <br />Reconstruction. <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 Vote Required <br />BACKGROUND: <br />After discussions with the City of Centerville, a Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) for <br />21st Avenue was approved by the Lino Lakes City Council on August 10, 1998. <br />Minor changes to the JPA are proposed, as shown in italics on the attached <br />version. The changes effect item "a" on page 1; "1.b." on page 2; and "10" on <br />page 4. Exhibit A has also been revised to reflect the most recent Feasibility <br />Study. The City of Centerville will consider these changes at their June 13, <br />2001, meeting. <br />Staff has reviewed the changes and recommends approval. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Return to staff for further review. <br />2. Adopt Resolution No. 01-80, Approve the revised Joint Powers Agreement for <br />the Reconstruction of 21st Avenue contingent upon the City of Centerville <br />approving the same agreement. <br />3. Adopt Resolution No. 01-80 with revisions. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Option No. 2 - Staff recommends that Resolution No. 01-80 be adopted. <br />
