Review Watermark Development Park Design Concepts <br />Discussion for Watermark Park Concept Plan as Follow <br />Introductions <br />Mr. DeGardner introduced Mr. Rick Packer from Watermark Development. Mr. Packer is <br />the Land Development Manager for MattamyIlomes Minnesota Division. Mr. Packer <br />introduced that the proposed park design'to be discussed is a neighborhood park located <br />in the new Watermark Development. <br />Mr. DeGardner introduced Candice Amberg and Bailey Krause, Architects from WSB & <br />Associates. They displayed three design concepts for the Board to discuss. <br />Ms. Krause gave a brief overview of the concepts. <br />Concept #1 described asthe most active park coney <br />• Parking lot is brought into the park. <br />• Tennis courts to the west of the parking lot to keep it away from residents. <br />• Playground is south of the parking lot (peanut shaped) <br />Ball field /open green space is east of the parking lot <br />Picnic shelter is close to the playground area and has its own dedicated green space <br />there would be a seating overlook close to the wetland area <br />Concept`#2 described as a more naturalist and open concept: <br />• No parking on this concept <br />• Half- court basketball on the NE end <br />• Open green space is the dashed oval <br />• Playground on either side of the shelter <br />• Shelter is larger in this concept <br />• Another overlook area by the wetland <br />Park Board Minutes <br />March 2, 2015 <br />Page 1 2 <br />
