Each class <br />will also go through the Emergency Medical <br />Technican Basic class as well. <br />Instructors will be paid a flat rate of $30 per <br />hour. Each class will cost roughly $7800 for <br />260 hours of training to achieve IFSAC and <br />state certification at each level. We are <br />planning on training 59 students per year. <br />There will be no benefits offered to these <br />contractual employees. <br />Firefighting Personal Protective Gear <br />Equipment <br />First 12 -Month Period of Your Grant $ 94400 <br />Second 12 -Month Period of Your Grant $ 94400 <br />Third 12 -Month Period of Your Grant $ 94400 <br />Fourth 12 -Month Period of Your Grant $ 94400 <br />This fee would be to purchase personal <br />protective gear to each graduating firefighter <br />from the firefighter I-II program. The gear <br />includes a NPFA compliant jacket, pant, <br />boot, helmet, hood, and gloves. The gear <br />would become the property of the fire <br />department who hired the employee.
