3
Mr. Stranik said Councilmember Roeser is concerned that the track would move to Columbus.
Ms. Divine said that IMEDC is now doing another site plan showing the track in Columbus and
the parking and commercial in Lino Lakes. However, they are going to have to do environmental
assessments in both cities no matter what they do.

Ms. Divine submitted a resolution for EDAC to decide whether they want to recommend that the
City Council consider this at the next meeting, as requested by the city council. Members
proposed adding additional language about increasing tax base and bringing in additional
development. Ms. Schwartz moved to ask the council to consider the revised resolution. Ms.
Keller seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.

Mr. Stranik suggested that he call IMEDC and ask again for financial information.

OTTER LAKE ROAD
Ms. Divine informed EDAC that the pharmacy had pulled from the north side of Otter Lake
Road. A fast food chain is the only interested prospect. Getting the north road extended is going
to be difficult and expensive.

ONE YEAR ACTION PLAN
This was moved to the next meeting.

MARKETING MATERIALS
Ms. Divine handed out the marketing materials she developed. She will be sending them out to a
variety of lists she has been collecting. She told members to look at the new video on the front
page of the website.

Meeting adjourned 9:40 a.m.
