The number that was voted on was 300 units, which was the market driven amount. Ms. <br />Schwartz said she voted against it in the spirit of cooperation with those who had worked on the <br />last Comp Plan and had capped the units at 147/year, which was a very difficult plan to pass. The <br />panel also went through goals and strategies. The next step will be a joint panel/city <br />board/council meeting. <br /> <br />Updates <br />Ms. Divine stated Magnet Street has made application to build a facility on a commercial site <br />next to Surfside Seaplane Base. It will be an administrative review and they intend to begin <br />construction this spring. <br /> <br />Main Street Village is a McDonald’s, gas station and strip mall on 35E and Cty.
