CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14-6 <br />APPROVING LABOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />AND LAW ENFORCEMENT LABOR SERVICES, LOCAL NO. 260 <br />FOR YEARS 2012, 2013 AND 2014 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes and Law Enforcement Labor Services (LELS) Local 260, <br />representing the police sergeants, negotiated terms to renew a collective bargaining agreement, <br />which expired on December 31, 2012; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties were unable to resolve the contract terms for 2014, whereby the <br />mediator for the Bureau of Mediation Services recommended arbitration; and <br />WHEREAS, two issues were certified to the Minnesota Bureau of Mediation Services for <br />interest arbitration pursuant to Minn. Stat. 179A.16, subd 2; and <br />WHEREAS, the hearing in this matter was conducted by a neutral arbitrator on December 19, <br />2013; and <br />WHEREAS, Arbitrator Richard John Miller rendered the award on January 15, 2014. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br />approve the terms of the labor agreement for years 2012, 2013 and 2014, as follows: <br />1. Wages: 1% July 1, 2012; 1.5% January 1, 2013; 2% January 1, 2014 <br />2. Premium Contributions toward Health Insurance: 2012 family -- $855.66/mo., single -- <br />$333.99; 2013 family -- $869.72/mo., single -- $344.01; 2014 family -- $966.13/mo., <br />single -- $412.71 <br />3. Annual HSA Contributions: 2012 family -- $3,000, single -- $1,500; <br />2013 family -- $2,500, single — $1,000; 2014 family -- $2,500, single - $1,000 <br />4.
