CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14-38 <br />Approving Applications for a Temporary Liquor License, Cabaret License and Lawful <br />Gambling Permit for the Annual Festival at St. Joseph's Catholic Church <br />WHEREAS, St. Joseph's Catholic Church has made application for a temporary on -sale <br />liquor license, a cabaret license and an exempt lawful gambling permit for their annual Summer <br />Festival to be held August 9th and 10th, 2014; and <br />WHEREAS, city staff has reviewed the applications submitted for festival events <br />(temporary on -sale liquor, exempt gambling and cabaret) for concurrence with city regulations; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes staff has conducted a background investigation of <br />the applicants; and <br />WHEREAS, St. Joseph's Catholic Church has paid the required license fees; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes, Minnesota: <br />That the City Council hereby approves a temporary on -sale liquor license, a cabaret license and <br />an application for exemption for gambling permit for the 2014 St. Joseph's Catholic Church <br />Festival. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 12th day of May, 2014. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Roeser and was duly seconded by Council Member Kusterman and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Roeser, Kusterman, Rafferty, Stoesz, Reinert <br />The -following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />e Bartell, City Clerk <br />
