�-- CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14-62 <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PAID ON-CALL <br />FIRE RECRUITMENT INCENTIVE PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has decided to integrate fire services into the Public Safety <br />Department; and <br />WHEREAS, the recruitment of high quality paid on-call fire professionals essential for all fire <br />services; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes values those individuals who have accepted the challenges <br />of providing public safety services. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of The City of Lino Lakes that <br />the City does hereby establish an incentive program to recruit paid on-call fire professionals as <br />listed below. <br />Level 1 <br />Milestones <br />Total <br />Incetive <br />Est. 2015 <br />Budget <br />Est 2016 <br />Budget <br />$3,000 <br />$17,000 <br />$34,000 <br />2014:(Payablein 2015) <br />attending recruiting meetings <br />meeting in 2014. <br />training and mentoring of new <br />Must apply as for Paid On -Call Firefighter with Lino Lakes by 4 PM on July 31, 2014 <br />Must have successful completed Firefighter 1 & 2 and Hazardous Materials <br />Must actively participate in the recruitment of and training of new Lino Lakes fire personnel by <br />Must actively participate in the fire service implementation process and attend at least three planning <br />IF ALL MILESTONES ARE MET THE MEMBER WILL RECEIVE $1,000 ON JANUARY 15, 2015 <br />2015: (Payable in 2016) <br />Must meet all milestones articulated for 2014. <br />Must actively participate at eight meetings to assist in the continui ng implementation process, <br />Ensure the implementation process is successful by the January 28, 2016 "go live" date. <br />IF ALL MILESTONES ARE MET THE MEMBER WILL RECEIVE $2,000 ON FEBRUARY 15, 2016 <br />Level 2 <br />Milestones <br />Total <br />Incetive <br />Est. 2015 <br />Budget <br />Est. 2016 <br />Budget <br />$4,000 <br />$6,000 <br />$10,000 <br />2014: (Payable in 2015) <br />with duties of fire <br />with duties of fi re <br />Must apply as for Paid On -Call Firefighter with Lino Lakes by 4 PM on July 31, 2014. <br />Must have all certifications and training to operate as a fire command staff or fire officer. <br />Assist Public Safety management tea m with the successful fire implementation in a manner consistent <br />IF ALL MILESTONES ARE MET THE MEMBER WILL RECEIVE $1,500 ON JANUARY 15, 2015 <br />2015: (Payable in 2016) <br />Must meet all milestones articulated for 2014. <br />Assist Public Safety management tea m with the successful fire implementation in a manner consistent <br />Ensure the implementation process is successful by the January 28, 2016 "go live" date. <br />IF ALL MILESTONES ARE MET THE MEMBER WILL RECEIVE $2,500 ON FEBRUARY 15, 2016 <br />
