CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14-136 <br />APPROVING A PEDDLER LICENSE FOR EDWARD JONES FINANCIAL <br />WHEREAS, Philip Sottjen, Financial Advisor for Edward Jones Financial, has submitted a <br />peddlers license application to the city clerk's office; and <br />WHEREAS, Philip Sottjen has complied with all of the provisions of Chapter 613 of the Lino <br />Lakes City Code for obtaining the necessary license; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department has conducted a background check on the <br />company representatives that will be working in Lino Lakes, Mr. Philip Sottjen; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby approves <br />the request of Philip Sottjen, Edward Jones Financial, to travel throughout Lino Lakes offering <br />financial services door to door for a period of six -months beginning November 25th, 2014 and <br />ending May 25th, 2014. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 24th day of November, 2014. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Rafferty and was duly seconded by Council Member Roeser and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Rafferty, Roeser, Kusterman, Stoesz, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />
