CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14-141 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />BIRCH STREET & CENTERVILLE ROAD STREET AND UTILITY <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, the City is proposing to construct a 2nd Fire Station located in the southeast <br />quadrant of Birch Street and Centerville Road; and <br />WHEREAS, development of the property will require the extension of trunk sanitary sewer, <br />installation of sanitary sewer and water main laterals, and the construction of turn lanes and a <br />bypass lane at proposed access points; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the best interests of the city to proceed <br />with the preparation of plans and specifications, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. WSB and Associates, Inc., is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The <br />engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. <br />2. City staff is authorized to execute a professional services agreement with WSB and <br />Associate, Inc., in the amount of $99,900.00. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 24th day of November, 2014. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Rafferty and was duly seconded by Council Member . - and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor the <br />Rafferty, Stoesz, Roeser, Kusterma Reiner <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />Julia e Bartell, City Clerk <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Jeff Rein , �.yor <br />
