CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 1D <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Lisa Hogstad-Osterhues, Deputy Clerk <br />MEETING DATE: June 8, 2015 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 15-59, Approving a Peddler License for <br />Big Bell Ice Cream <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />BACKGROUND <br />Big Bell Ice Cream, Inc., 3218 Snelling Avenue, Minneapolis has submitted a peddler's <br />license application to the city clerk's office. The company representative who would be <br />working in Lino Lakes is Mr. Jon Samuelson. He plans to travel through the Lino Lakes' <br />neighborhoods selling pre-packaged ice cream novelties. <br />The City has received all the necessary forms required to issue this company a license. <br />The Lino Lakes Police Department has performed a background check and indicated no <br />reason to deny the application. <br />The application and all other required information is on file in the city clerk's office for <br />review. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve Resolution No. 15-59, Approving the issuance of a Peddler License for a six <br />month period commencing June 8, 2015. <br />
