CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15-63 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />BIRCH STREET BY-PASS LANE AT OLD BIRCH STREET <br />WHEREAS, the Saddle Club development requires the construction of a By -Pass lane at the <br />intersection of Birch Street and Old Birch Street; and <br />WHEREAS, the Developer of the Saddle Club development is funding the design of the By - <br />Pass lane, and Anoka County is funding the construction of the By -Pass lane; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the best interests of the city to proceed <br />with the preparation of plans and specifications, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. WSB and Associates, Inc., is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The <br />engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. <br />2. City staff is authorized to execute a professional services agreement with WSB and <br />Associate, Inc., in the amount of $9,700.00. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 8t' day of June, 2015. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />and was duly seconded by Council Member and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
