Existing trees may be used to fulfill canopy coverage, as described in § 1007.043 <br />(17)(h), when the drip line has proximity to the edge of the hardscape; therefore, existing trees do <br />not need to be within less than 7' feet of the vehicular hardscape edge. <br />(d) Foundation Landscape Standards. The purpose of these standards is to soften and <br />enhance building architecture, define access points, add color and seasonal interest, and to blend <br />buildings in with the natural environment. Foundation Landscaping Standards do not apply to <br />single family residential development. <br />1.
