1st Reading: 2-11-2008 <br />Publication: 3-4-2008 <br />2"d Reading: 2-25-2008 <br />Effective: 4-3-2008 <br />Council Member Reinert moved for adoption of the following ordinance: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2-08 <br />APPROVING REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM PUD <br />(PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT) TO R -1X (SINGLE FAMILY EXECUTIVE) <br />(VAUGHANS FIRST ADDITION) <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota does ordain: <br />Section 1: Findings <br />The City Council makes the following findings regarding rezoning the property described <br />below, based on the factors listed in Section 2 of the Lino Lakes zoning ordinance: <br />1. The R -1X (Single Family Executive) zoning designation will allow single family <br />development in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan designation for the site of <br />Low Density Sewered Residential. <br />2. The surrounding area is similarly zoned and designated for Low Density Sewered <br />Residential. <br />3. The proposed single family development has been reviewed and found to be <br />conforming to all applicable city standards. <br />4. The proposed development will be accommodated with existing public services and <br />will not overburden the City's service capacity. Municipal water and sanitary sewer <br />are available to the site and sufficient capacity exists. <br />5. Traffic generation by proposed uses will be required to be within capabilities of <br />streets serving the property. <br />
