r <br /> Legacy Signage Criteria <br /> Page 2 <br /> Council Member I z moved for adoption of the following ordinance: <br /> CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 02-06 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT FOR THE <br /> LEGACY AT WOODS EDGE (LINO LAKES TOWN CENTER) AS CREATED BY <br /> ORDINANCE 04-04. <br /> The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota does ordain: <br /> SECTION L FINDINGS <br /> The City Council makes the following findings regarding the application for amending <br /> the Planned Unit Development for the property described below, based on the <br /> factors listed in Section 2, Subd.1 E of the Lino Lakes zoning ordinance: <br /> 1. The proposed action has been considered in relation to the specific policies and <br /> provisions of and has been found to be consistent with the official City <br /> Comprehensive Plan, as the site is guided for mixed uses and regulation of the <br /> signage is an important component of any mixed-use development. <br /> 2. The proposed signage criteria is largely based on the current signage standards <br /> for the city therefore the signage allowed within the site will be compatible with the <br /> present and future land uses that surround the site. <br /> 3. The Lino Lakes Town Center Design & Development Guide will now contain <br /> signage criteria that are in keeping with the typical signage standards of the city but <br /> specifically addresses the mixed-use nature of this type of development. <br /> 4. The proposed signage criteria will have no effect on public services and will not <br /> overburden the City's service capacity. <br /> 5. Vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be aided by the proper display of signage in <br /> accordance with the proposed standards. <br /> The Planned Unit Development for the Legacy at Woods Edge (Lino Lakes Town <br /> Center) as approved by Ordinance 04-04 is hereby amended as follows: <br />
