SC Shopping Center, page 2 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />ORDINANCE NO. 04-05 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES TO <br />DESIGNATE FORMER SC, SHOPPING CENTER DISTRICTS AS GB, GENERAL BUSINESS <br />DISTRICTS AND ADDING SUBDIVISION 5 ADDRESSING PLANNED DEVLEOPMENT <br />OVERLAYS (PDO). <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota does ordain: <br />SECTION 1. FINDINGS <br />The City Council makes the following findings regarding the amendment of the Lino Lakes <br />zoning ordinance: <br />1. The SC, Shopping Center district was eliminated with the adoption of Ordinance 01- <br />03. <br />2. it was the intent that the SC, Shopping Center district be incorporated into the GB, <br />General Business district provisions. <br />3. The zoning ordinance does not specifically address provisions for properties lying <br />within a SC, Shopping Center district. <br />4. The zoning ordinance does riot specifically address provisions for properties <br />formerly within a SC, Shopping Center district that has been rezoned to PDO, <br />Planned Development Overlay. <br />5. It is necessary to clarify existing ambiguities regarding the SC, Shopping Center <br />district. <br />SECTION 2. <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes hereby ordains as follows: <br />Section 7, Subdivision 4 of Ordinance 03-01 shall be amended as follows: <br />Subd. 4 Land formerly within a CB, Central Business District or SC, Shopping Center <br />District is hereby zoned GB, General Business District. <br />Section 7, Subdivision 5. shall be added to Ordinance 03-01 as follows: <br />- 5 5 - <br />
