Council Member l;.n <br />adoption. <br />introduced the following ordinance and moved for its <br />City of Lino Lakes <br />County of Anoka <br />State of Minnesota <br />Ordinance No. 12-00 <br />An ordinance amending the Lino Lakes City Code by repealing chapter 1002 Fire <br />Code and replacing it with the following: <br />1002 Fire Code <br />1002.01 Uniform Fire Code Adoption <br />The Minnesota Uniform Fire Code, as adopted pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, <br />299F.011, is hereby adopted as the fire code for the City of Lino Lakes for the purpose of <br />prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life or property from fire, <br />hazardous material, or explosion. The provisions of the Minnesota Uniform Fire Code <br />except as modified or amended by this ordinance, are hereby adopted by reference and <br />made a part of this ordinance as set forth herein. One copy of this code shall be marked as <br />the official copy and shall be on file in the office of the Fire Chief. <br />1002.02 Enforcement <br />(a) The Chief of the Centennial Fire District serving Lino Lakes or the Chief's <br />representatives are authorized to administer and enforce the provisions of this <br />ordinance. <br />(b) The Chief of the Centennial Fire District may detail such members of the fire <br />department as may be necessary to administer and enforce the provisions of this <br />ordinance. <br />1002.03 Definitions <br />(a) Whenever the word "jurisdiction" is used in the Minnesota <br />Uniform Fire Code, it shall mean the City of Lino Lakes. <br />(b) Whenever the term "this code" is used in the Minnesota Uniform Fire Code or <br />this ordinance, it shall mean the code adopted pursuant to this Ordinance. <br />
